4th Annual
Olde Time Christmas
at Mineral Lake

In downtown Mineral, WA
The community of Mineral is proud
to announce the 4th annual Olde Time Christmas at Mineral
Lake. This family event will take place Saturday, December
12, 2009 at 6:30 pm in downtown Mineral at the Mineral Lake
Lions Campground. Santa will be arriving via a PONTOON BOAT
on loan from the Mineral Lake Resort. Look for all the warm
campfires glowing and people awaiting the tree lighting
donated every year by Hale's Tree Plantation. Christmas
carols will be sung and Santa will have goodies for all good
little girls and boys ages new born to 10. The Mineral
American Legion Hall will be open at 3:30 pm for warmth as
well as hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, coffee, cocoa, cider
and a bake sale.
Ohop Mutual will be lighting up the town again this year
with their line truck covered in millions of lights and
setting the tone for the community house decorating contest
with 3 cash prizes donated by the Mineral Lions Club. The
houses are scheduled to be judged the evening of Friday,
December 11th. The winners are to be announced at the tree
lighting.
This year our event will begin after the Mt. Rainier Scenic
Railroad's last Snowball Express train ride of the day. Come
ride the train in Mineral and stop by our event on your way
home!
At the end of the evening Santa will be whisked away to the
North Pole by the Mineral Volunteer FireDeptartment. Come
one, come all!
